FREE Coronavirus & Antibody Testing

• This Baton Rouge COVID-19 Prevalence Study will provide data to help us better understand the spread of the virus in our region and how best to safely and effectively reopen.
• It’s possible that many people infected with the virus were not tested, either because of limited test availability at the time or because they were not experiencing symptoms.
• The data collected will help healthcare providers and local leaders determine how many residents were infected and help inform how the region can safely reopen.

• We will collect your name, contact info and date of birth to make sure that testing results are delivered to the correct person.
• We collect demographic information like age, gender, race and ethnicity to help public officials understand who has been most impacted by COVID-19.
• Your personal information will not be shared outside of Ochsner.
• You will not be contacted for marketing or any other purposes following the study.

• You will have access to free COVID-19 and antibody testing.
• These tests will tell you if you had or currently have COVID-19.
• Your participation also provides critical information to city and parish officials and healthcare organizations, which will inform reopening plans.

• We want study participants who accurately reflect our diverse community
• We encourage adults of all ages, races and ethnicities from all areas of East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Ascension or Livingston Parishes to enroll.
• Participants will be selected to ensure that our community’s demographics are appropriately represented.

• Those not initially selected for this study will be placed on a waiting list and may be asked to participate in this same study at a later date.
• If you are not selected, you may be contacted with information about other testing opportunities.

Ochsner Health, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome, the Baton Rouge Area Foundation and Pennington Biomedical Research have partnered with funders Louisiana COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force and Humana, with additional support from The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation and Healthy Blue.
